Competition Formula
Second Round Nov 6, '10-Nov 10, '10
- Second Round -- 32 matches, 4 days and 2 cities from 6-10 November
The remaining 16 teams are split into two pools (E and F) of eight teams. - A further single round robin tournament will be played to determine the rankings within each pool.
- The results and the points of the matches between the same teams that were already played during the First Round shall be taken into account for this stage.
- The 7th and 8th ranked teams in pools E and F (total of four teams) are eliminated from the World Championship.
- The remaining twelve teams will advance to the semi-finals.
