Q: What is your team’s strength?(photo)
The main strength of the Serbian team is in the collective spirit. This young team won the gold medal in the 2010 European League. As a result of this winning, we are qualified for the FIVB World Grand Prix 2011 for the first time in history.
Q: How is the condition of your team?
The team won such an important competition. It can be said that we are in excellent shape. We would like to keep the way until the world championship. However, it is hard to make any predictions because we are not yet to start the preparations.
Q: What aspects of the game do you need to improve in particular before the World Championship?(photo)
We will try to improve our defense and blocking. We will manage to rectify the mistakes and increase the success rate of defense and blocking.
Q: What is your team’s target in this year’s World Championship?
To play better and to continue to improve at all times. If we succeed in that, the results will come along.
Q: Have you some exciting, talented young players we must watch out for in Japan?(photo)
Stefana Veljković and Milena Rašić are brought attention to with their recent performances.
Q: How do you think about other teams in your Pool A?
Poland and Japan are the main rivals. Poland, Japan and Serbia will go to the further stage, I think, and these 3 teams compete for the final four in the world championship.
Q: Which team is the greatest competitor for you?
Japan is it in our Pool. I think Russia is the best team in all teams.
Q: Is there any message for fans looking forward to the World Championship?(photo)
We will be ready for twenty days of top quality volleyball competition.
