- Q: How is the condition of your team?
- Comparing to the last Olympic, the girls have now more confidence and experience.
- Q: What aspects of the game do you need to improve in particular before the World Championship?
- The relation between receiver, setter and attacker in terms of offence.
- Q: What is your team’s target in this year’s World Championship?
- We try to realize a best result as we can. We have enough confidence as a result of first Olympic participation in 2008.
- Q: Have you some exciting, talented young players we must watch out for in Japan?
- LYDIA OULMOU, who is a strong middle blocker; TSABET who is a fantastic outside hitter; OUKAZI, who is an excellent setter.
- Q: How do you think about other teams in your Pool A?
- Serbia: Serbia is a strong team consisting of good players. We played against them at the Olympic in 2008.
Japan: Japan is a one of the best teams. They make quick plays with high skills.
Poland: Poland is also one of the best teams. It seems there are some new players and we don’t have enough information of them.
Costa Rica: We don’t have enough information of Costa Rica.
Peru: Peru team is traditionally strong, so I’m sure they must be a good team. - Q: Which team is the greatest competitor for you?
- In our pool Serbia and Japan seem to be the strongest teams. In other pools, I think Italy and Brazil are the good teams.
- Q: Is there any message for fans looking forward to the World Championship?
- We will do our best to make good results, to give more experience to young players and to prepare for the next Olympic qualification.
